The Trans-disciplinary Futures Research for Africa is a collaborative endeavor between African academia, local/indigenous communities, and decision-makers to collectively address emerging and future glocal challenges.
Leveraging grassroots agency and academic research networks, the program nurtures diverse ways of knowing and doing across Africa.
We don't just bring stakeholders together—we ensure these collaborations contribute to the Africa Agenda 2063 and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In our quest to strengthen research collaboration between African universities and local
communities, Transdisciplinary Futures Research for Africa operates across multiple
countries in Africa.
Our work extends to Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, and Ghana, where we actively engage with
universities, research institutions, and local communities to co-develop solutions for
emerging and future glocal complex challenges.
Through our extensive work in Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, Ghana, and beyond, the program
is dedicated to advancing transdisciplinary research, fostering collaboration, and
co-creating solutions that address the unique challenges faced by African
communities.
